Help! Looking for a mf park in Southern Cal

Hi, my husband and I have been looking for an affordable house to purchase, but the only areas we can afford in California are areas like Fontana, Rialto etc. These cities are about 50miles and more from both our jobs. On top of that we have a 7month old who is watched by my mother and I want to keep it that way. We realized that moving so far would not benefit us. A church member suggested we purchase a manufactured home. He and his family lives in a community in Corona. My husband was not for it that at all. After investigating the industry on the net I discovered that manufactured homes our nothing like trailer homes. Some are actually beautiful and I became very interested. The problem now is finding a community. Does anyone have any knowledge of nice looking communities in Cerritos, Lakewood,Torrance, San Pedro, North or West Hills or even in Los Angeles. Any advice would be helpful.
