GETTING TITLE TO MOBILE HOME

CURRENTLY I AM HAVING DIFFICULTY LOCATING THE FORMER OWNER OF MY MOBILE HOME.... I POSSESS THE ORGINAL TITLE HOWEVER DUE TO AN ALTERATION TO THE TITLE I AM UNABLE TO TRASFER IT PROPERLY INTO MY NAME....{alteration was not my doing}
I HAVE PAID SOME TAXES OWED HOWEVER RECENTLY I RECEIVED A NOTICE TO OBTAIN CURRENT REGISTRATION/DECAL FOR THE HOME. I ATTEMPTED TO PAY TO BRING THE HOME UP TO DATE AND DUE TO THE TITLE{MESS} I AM UNABLE TO DUE THE ABOVE.... HOW CAN I LOCATE A PREVIOUS OWNER.... I DO HAVE A VEHICLE TAG NUMBER THAT HE POSSESS ON HIS MOTOR VEHICLE WILL THIS HELP TO LOCATE HIM???

Seems like you need to be talking to a knowledgeable person in your states title office...They should be able to help...

If you need to find a lost person...most private detectives offer a low cost service now with the world of the internet..Recently I had to find a person to help clear a land title..with little information the private detective gave me a listing of every person in the country with his name...I got huge amount of info..from criminal backrounds..social security numbers..vehicles owned..real estate owned..addresses..relatives names and address...The report was pages long...all for $100...Thank goodness the name I was looking for was not John Smith..

The title office is where I would start..
