INSPECTION

Hi all
We finally had the inspection done on our MH. But i have a question? Can the company that does the inspection, also give us a bid to do the work. Some how this does not quite seem right. The Company did find some termite damage, and now is giving us a bid to do the work. Thanks for your help.

Seems a little odd...but why not...Do you see the damage they are refering to????

They should be able to point it out...Do they recommend a termite treatment?....

Be sure to compare the bid with others..

Thanks for answering. Yes they have recommended a treatment. They want to tent the whole MH, which is going to be very expensive. Time is running out, we wanted to move this friday. What happens if you don't move or the new buyer is not in the house before the closing date? thanks again

Seldom would a new buyer actually be living in a home prior to closing...Most sellers will not allow this..

You might want to get another oppinion on the termites...I have NEVER heard of tenting a manufactured home....I have heard of minor damage to steps and the like...but never to large portions of the home...

Maybe others will weigh in with their experience..
