Citations from the State
Citations from the State
Over 30 days ago, Skyline Corporation was issued a citation (with possible $1,000 fines for each offense). On the 28th day, the State Inspector reinspected for compliance . To say the least, Skyline has not complied with all aledged violations. I am now being told that Skyline may be granted an extension. This corporation not only has defied my requests for repairs, but now stands in contempt of the State Inspector. The end to this ongoing battle by myself and against a corporate giant is not at end yet.BUYERS BEWARE.......

Sounds like you're holding your own, Richard! Hang in there! You're going to eventually win!
Re: Citations from the State
I agree with the other post here...The system works slowly..but it seems to be working...hang in there...HUD citations are taken seriously by every manufacturer..
Just be careful with the atate imspector..He is your tool to success..They are human too and if you make him mad..you might lose..

Re: Citations from the State
Thanks for much great support. It is a shame for any one of us to have to fight so long and so hard to get what we are due. I understand the AARP Survey which states there are many folks who give up the fight and pay for repairs out of their own pockets. I still stand appauled at the way the Ephrata, PA. facility can't handle their problems. Well! I'll keep on plugging away, and let you good folks know what happens.

To quote Winston Churchill during World War II: "Never give up! Never give up! Never give up!"

Richard:
Evidently, Skyline is playing with dynamite. What are the violations for which Skyline was cited?

Re: Citations from the State
I have several items that are not fixed correctly in mobile home.
I want to know who you called to inspect your home? Did you call HUD?
or some other agency?
I have concern with calling HUD as I think they might be on Mobile Home Dealers' side. I really want unbiased opinion.
I would appreciate your feedback.
I am glad to hear that you did get favor regarding the Citations, etc.
