Post by Indygeek7324 » Thu Mar 07, 2024 8:33 pm

I am trying to get a duplicate title for my 1996 Fairmont manufactured home on the Michigan Secretary of State Website and I am haveing a hard time deciphering the Serial number out of the number listed on the data plate. The number is below and it doesn’t match any format I look up online.
Can anyone assist?

The serial number for your 1996 Fairmont manufactured home is likely encoded in the number you provided. However, without the exact number, you can refer some general guidelines that might help you decipher the serial number:

Look for a specific format. The format can vary depending on the manufacturer, but it often includes a combination of letters and numbers.
If you're still having trouble, contact the Fairmont manufactured home manufacturer directly. They should be able to provide guidance on how to decipher the serial number.
Once you've successfully deciphered the serial number, you can use it to obtain a duplicate title from the Michigan Secretary of State.

I recommend contacting the Michigan Secretary of State directly or reaching out to Fairmont Homes customer support, as they should be able to help you decode the serial number.
