Re: trusting dealers

Ask any retailer you consider for references. Names and numbers of customers they have sold homes to that you can talk to. Many Solitaire buyers seem happy with their experience.

Re: floor plans for the bath room in order to replace rotten floor 1976 skyline ID #01100722

In a skyline home of this vintage the floor joists are longitudinal. That is to say the joists run the length of the house. If the house is 60' long the joists are 60' long. Probably on 24" centers.

Re: Bedix Manufactured Homes

Unfortunately, there is no such information available. Bendix closed may years ago and such information was difficult to get when they were in business.

Re: Can a HUD Park Model have a Loft area?

Roof coating for metal roofs is available in either white or silver. Typically folks are happier with white.

Re: basement support beam

You need an engineer rather than an installer to evaluate this issue. Especially if it snows where you live. If the span in question coincides with an open span in the marriage wall up stairs, it may not be that bad. If one of the posts is at the end of an opening between the modules, you're stuck w...

Re: Load Bearing Wall?

This is probably not intended to be a load bearing wall. There may be some load now, if the ridge beam has sagged which is common.

Re: Frame Centers for 16', 14' and 12' homes

Frame centers are not standardized. They can range from 75" to 112". Most homes also require perimeter support at sidewall openings.
