The paneling is important to the structure of this home, and most of it should be glued in place. I would leave the paneling in place and add 3/8 or 1/2" drywall over it. certainly not 5/8". That is just too much weight. Even then, it would be an excellent idea to add perimeter piers under...

If you live in area that experiences frost, you would need a footing below the frost line to avoid frost heave. There also bolts at the main I beams. One of those could be the culprit.

Keep in mind that the numbers above are net free area. That is to say the vent area after you subtract the area used by the screen material and or louvers.

If you live in a cold climate you are likely correct that it is condensation. Especially if your new roof included more insulation. More insulation requires more ventilation. You will need to install a header (a beam) to replace any wall you remove. The size depends on the length of the opening and the roof load. This beam will need to be supported at both ends by studs in the wall and by piers directly under those studs beneath the floor.

I sold 4 Seasons homes the entire time they were in business. I always found them to be above average homes and had a lot fewer problems than with some of the brands people on here rave about.

The manufacturer will not change the price, the retailer may. There is no list price for a manufactured home. Each retailer sets their own mark up.
