Consider a mini split system for heat and air. There is also a propane wall mounted heater for backup and to take the chill off. The hardest part about remodeling ours was how it was built. Subfloor, carpet, you name it, runs from exterior wall to exterior wall. We technically have no bedrooms, lol....
