I hate skirting - it always looks yucky and with the first mow and week-wack it has holes in it. Do i HAVE to have skirting? I am think of pulling it all off and just putting in a nice flowering hedge. A hedge will help to insulate (I'm in central Florida so rarely gets below 32) and it will look to...

I know that new mobile homes have much stricter HUD requirements if you live in a hurricane zone. But that said I lived for about 15-20 years in a 1974 mobile home in South Florida that went through Andrew, Irma, Wilma, and all the others and the only damage it took was about $150.00 worth of skirti...

Good Morning! My mobile is only about 3 years old, but I've been told that once it hits 20 I will be unable to buy homeowners insurance for it. Is that correct?? Thank you.
