I assume the home is metal (alum) siding. Most patterns are still available at mobile home parts dealers. Take the window out, frame it in, then cover with new siding. That said, why don't you just remove the window, scrap the old putty off, re-putty with new, re-attach. Then add an window awning. Y...

P.S. I forgot to mention that I am trying to avoid sheeting the roof with plywood. This is what prompts my sweat question.
