Well, with that kind of information, we can't help you. Where are you doing it? How deep and wide is the crack? How old is the original concrete slab? What conditions (climatic, physical) is it going to be exposed to?

Yes, there's 2 factors, the size of the plot you want cleared, and how hard it is to clear it. Your dealer, though, will do it or hire someone to do it. Money is the only potentially limitating factor.

Yeah, termites won't come if you regularily take care of your home, but let's say you're away for a month for this or that reason (work, family, a trip, whatever) and that you come back to see a bunch of these little pieces of crap gnawing away at your home, what is to be done then?

I'd be interested in the answer as well, although I'd say it depends from the manufacturer. This way, I'll know I'm sure to get one with the vents in the ceiling, I've always had issues with the ones in the floor.
