Take a look at Deer Valley Homebuilders out of Guin, AL, they are building me a custom home now.

I used mhloans and got only one response back. Ok deal but not the best. I have also contacted another lender that happens to be the one the dealer uses most (21st Mortgage) and they are actually a Platinum Dealer for them over 4M in lending in 2007. Update to that Rating Info, seems old. They do offer customization and in fact most every home they build has been customized by the consumer. They have an updated website with floor plans, pictures, contact information, etc..

We have not purchaed our Deer Valley yet but I did tour the plant in Guin and met with the management and other employees. That is the first mfg home plant I have been to, but I was very impressed with their company culture and manufacturing processes. I was there about 2 hours and they never tried ...

You may want to also look at Deer Valley Homebuilders. They also offer a plywood option, but I don't know the cost upgrade. They will customize most everything and they do have dealers in GA. I am looking for pics of the Jackson and Brentwood models by Deer Valley Homebuilders. DV does not have any pics of those and the local retailers don't currently have those on the lot.

If anyone has run across these somwhere, let me know.
