Re: painting kitchen cabinets

But if I just replace the cabinet doors, I will still have to paint the facing of the cabinets themselves. Does this contact paper-like material accept paint?

painting kitchen cabinets

I have kitchen cabinets that are like contact paper stuff, for lack of better words. Can these be painted? If so, can someone direct me to DIY instructions. Thanks.

Inspection?

I have a four year old Palm Harbor home. I know that there is a five year structural warranty. Is it a good idea to have a home inspection to make sure everything is OK before my warranty is up? Or if something is wrong, I would know it:) Thanks in advance for any input.

Re: kitchen cabinets

I woudl be interested in this process....the article sounded like they were dealing with wood cabinets. Mine are laminate as well, or some kind of manmade material. Is the process the same as with wooden cabinets? I hope lilbit keeps us posted as to the success of this project.

Noises between walls

It only happens at night...I'm thinking it may be a critter, but I've looked around the perimeter of my house and can't see where one could have gotten under. It seems too...

Re: Any experiences?

I bought a PH about 2 years ago. I had a few minor things that needed to be taken care of -window wouldn't stay up, door needed tweaking - right after I moved in. Those things were taken care of promptly. Some months later, I had a problem with some cracked tile in the kitchen. They sent people out ...

foggy windows

I'm living in a 2004 Palm Harbor. Due to some settling, the chaulking has become separated betweem the window sill and the window. I can feel cold air coming in. Now that window has "fog" trapped between the double panes. If I repair the chaulking will the fog go away? Or is it a case wher...
