I say you have a good complaint. Contact your state agency who handles consumer complaints. (but only if you are the first purchaser of this home). Their phone number is in the homeowners packet when you got the home.

If your home is only a few years old and you are experiencing these problems, your home is not durable as the federal code requires! Get with the manufacturer and advise them of these problems. I would also contact your state agency who handles consumer complaints!

Try to purchase a home that was built close to you. NY has many retailers, many of which do a poor job. Do your homework!

Cathy the best way to set your home is to attempt to get a installation manual from the manufacturer or try use locate an old ANSI standard 225.1 (1994).

Ruth, sounds like you have improper site grading under your home and to place a ground vapor barrier under the home in order to correct the poor site conditions may increase your moisture problems.
