Re: New Roof

It isn't as bad as it sounds. I have done it a few times in the past. You can order trusses for a cathedral ceiling where the bottom chord is pitched enough to clear the existing roof,or you can do it with rafters. The latter require a good deal more carpentry. Either way it isn't bad. You will need...

Re: New Home Pine Grove

Make sure the ground under the home is fully covered with plastic and that there is no water standing under the home. Make sure the skirting is well vented. Re: Determining the Window Manufacture

Those parts are called balancers. They are usually available at a glass company or good hardware store. If you live in the midwest, the windows were likely made by Carefree or maybe Winterseal both of whom are out of business.

Re: Adding new sub-floor over old particle board

David's advice is good. If you are worried about it you can use the 1/4" plywood throughout the house. This is a great way to make the marriage line smooth.

Re: 1977 Skyline Mobile Home Plans & Duct/Heating Sytem

The ductwork is likely very simple in this house. 2 straight ducts connected by a flex duct. There may be more flex ducts under the home if you have central air conditioning.

Re: Can I use a conventional house tub/ shower?

When you choose your tub, measure your doors first. The biggest limiting factor in replacing a tub in either a site built or manufactured home is what you can actually get into the bathroom.
