REPLACEMENT FURNACES
I have a dilemma and would love some advice. I have a 99 Marshfield home. The board on my Intertherm Furnace needs replacing. I have had a few estimates to replace the board and also the furnace. I am leaning toward purchasing a new furnace. The companies that have given me estimates all want to rep...

Re: floor noises supposedly from plumbing?
I have another question regarding a problem I am having with a toilet. The previous owners had caulked around the bottom of the toilet. I removed the caulk and about 6 months later I noticed a leak around the bottom of the toilet. We pulled the toilet up to replace the wax ring and noticed that the ...

Re: floor noises supposedly from plumbing?

Re: floor noises supposedly from plumbing?
I have not looked under the home. I wouldn't even know what to look for so I will have to hire someone to try to figure out what the problem is. It sometimes sounds like someone walking across the floor. The noise travels at times from one end to the other. I do hear it when the water is running fro...

Re: floor noises supposedly from plumbing?
Yes all plumbing--furnace--waterheater--central air and washer dryer are on that half of the home. Can you think of anything else this could be? The noises also happen when none of that is running or being used.
Thanks for your help--any ideas would be helpful..

floor noises supposedly from plumbing?
I purchased a 1999 Marshfield approximately 1.5 years ago and have had problems with one half of the double wide making very LOUD noises. It is very aggravating. I have asked several people what this could be from. I have been told that it is where the plumbing runs and that is why the noises appear...
