In one of the previous posts Fleetwood & Patriot Homes financial problems were discussed and sounded bad. Does anyone know the how stable Fairmont Homes is at this time?

Do you know what kind of financial shape Fairmont Homes are currently in.

With the current slowdown in the sales & building of new homes it seems the demand for material would also decrease. Do you think the cost of material and in turn the cost to build will bring the price of a new manufactured home down any in the future?

I should have been more specific about the size. This is a 30x60 Douglas Manor stretched out to a 30x68. The floor joists are 16" oc. It will not be over a basement and the flooring would be upgraded to 3/4" advantech. I was not aware they used laminated joist, thanks for the info. On anot...

I'm well aware that I posted this basic question 5/7/07 but I hoped that in 3 months someone may have had some experiences with this brand.
