I used to deliver windows for HD installs, and delivered plenty to MH's. Unless they have recently changed their policy, someone does not know what they are talking about.

Fact is that manufactured homes can be hard to finance, I put a new Champion home on 3 acres, paid for ALL the improvements (foundation,septic,well,30x30 shop,electrical,road), anyway I had around $60K out of pocket into the deal,(basicially my down payment) and have very good credit, it still took ...

I just finished having my 1600sf Champion home set up in Central Washington. I had costs of around $45k,,,8400 for pressure system septic, around 8k for well,10k for set up and transportation,,,,8k for the pit set foundation with concrete stem wall,,,,4k in trenching plus alot of other small charges...
