I just wanted to thank you for the help and guidence. I have found out way modular and mobile homes have Fed requirements for their systems. I also found upflow systems that will work.

It would be an 80% upflow furnace in the basement. We would tie into the existing ductwork from the basement and run a main return air system for the entire house.
