Re: mobile home park issues

If you don't own your MH, you can always move to an apartment or rental house or buy a house. If you own your MH, you can buy your own property and move your MH to it. I assume you signed the lease BEFORE, you moved into the park and you had two choices then. One was to not sign the lease and find s...

Re: MH with land lenders

Check with some local mortgage brokers. If you are eligible for a VA loan or qualify for a FHA loan you may be able to find a lender who will give you a loan for 10% down or less.

Murray is correct and a manufactured home built for one wind zone may not be able to be moved to another wind zone. Your best bet would probably be a 'travel trailer.' Even though it may not come with a jacuzzi you could probably find a park with one and a pool. You could get a good truck and save a...

Have you looked at Southern Estates? They are a higher quality than Southern Living but not as high a quality as Southern Energy. We purchased a Southern Energy and opted for most of the upgrades you have mentioned. We are very happy with our home and the service we received after it was set up to f...

Re: information on southern estate mobile homes good or bad

When we were looking for a MH we looked at both Southern Estates and Southern Energy. We ultimately decided on a Southern Energy with upgrades such as 2x6 walls with dual pane vinyl windows and other upgrades. We looked at Southern Estates but ultimately decided on a Southern energy because we found...

If I were you I wouldn't walk away from this deal, I would run as fast as I can. If a deal sounds to good tone true it probably is. You said you don't have a lot of money after the deal and want a "trailer on the cheap." If that's the case you don't have enough money to start this business.

Laminate/wood floor to replace carpet.

We are considering replacing the rug in the living room and down the hall in our Southern Energy doublewide with wood or wood laminate (floating) floor. As the flooring will have to cross the marriage line, is there any particular way it should run (parallel or perpendicular to the marriage line) an...
