You need to add a financial due-diligence section to your guide. After ordering the guide, I purchased a Patriot home last summer only to have the Alabama site file for bankruptcy before completing my warrenty work. Other than that, I love my home and appreciate your analysis.

I would rather deal with a dealer and manufacturer whose mission is sales through quality workmanship and customer satisfaction than a company with goals of being the biggest through acquisition.

To update and brag a little bit, just got approved for 20 year fixed at 5.75% and will be ordering the home tomorrow. Again, I highly recommend the 2 books by Grissom.
