I found insurance through Allstate - lower-priced, too. The thing to remember when shopping for insurance is to SHOP it around. Foremost is not the only option by any means.

I agree. Emphasis on good credit and equity. Loan standards are tightening quite a bit just recently and likely will be tighter for a while - not a bad thing. The mortgage industry is going through what the manufactured home industry went through a few years ago, offering anyone who could fog a mirr...

I would say "Buy a home on Land" but the Bay Area is a rare exception - the affordability of single-family homes or condos is nonexistent (which is why I moved away a dozen years ago!) Best of luck!!!

Can't help you with that market as we live in NW Oregon (SW of Portland). The market here is doing *OK* - not as hot as last year.

Silvercrest used to do 1-1/8" flooring that they refer to as "SuperFloor." I'm sorry I didn't get that with my Karsten.
