Re: Is my home in danger of slipping.
First, the home can't slip. The soil beneath the home may move a create a problem, however. If you puchased the home used, how do you know the marriage line was ever tight? A one inch gap is permissable by code, if the home is properly attached, one side to the other. If the home was set on soil tha...

Re: replacing bath tub drain in moblie home without taking out tub
If there is a nut, you will have to go in from underneath the home. Generally there is no nut. The drain is usually screwed into a piece called a tray plug adapter which in turn is glued to the "P" trap and can be unscrewed from in the tub itself.

Re: Serial Number Search
Serial numbers are located in two places. The controling location is on the backing plate, the piece of metal that stretches across the front of the home, where the hitch is attached. The second is on the data plate installed within the home.

Re: Pellet stove experience
Let me caution you, I have yet to find either a pellet or wood stove that is HUD approved for installation in a manufactured home. If they do not have this approval, they are non-compliant, and may be a real problem with an insurance company in the event of fire.

Re: sagging walls
It would appear that the weight of the roof has indeed altered the structure. This is called floor crowning. A load greater in weight than what the home was engineered for has caused this problem.
