Vinyl siding had not been manufactured in 1973. If your home has vinyl siding, it has been put onn after-market. In that case, you would need to find the siding manufacturer, or take a small piece of it to a building supply store. Vinyl does fade over time, so an exact match may be impossible. Good ...

From my experience in Northern climates (North Dakota and Montana), Vinyl doesn't seem to last as well. My suggestion would be for seemless aluminum. That provides a maintence free system and avoids caulking seems

Sagging ceilings could be the result of roof leaks that have soaked your insulation making it heavier and placing more weight on the ceiling board, causing the glue and staples to break loose.
