The Trusses are 2 x 4 and I was going to attach metal 7/8" furring strips perpendicular to the trusses to be sure the dry wall has support every 16". Thank you for your response

Hi, My Daughter just bought a Detroiter Pontiac Chief Home. As near as we can figure it was built between 1959 and 1965. We understand that the structure is probably past its expected life but she wants to try to live in it for several years to save money. The metal roof was replaced 6 years ago wit...
