Is the manufactured home is on a permanent foundation, wouldn't the title be disreguarded. Once on a permanent foundation, I believe the home is described as a regular house.

You can definitely add on to a MH. We added a basement and a room upstairs with steps leading to the basement in 2003, on a 1996 Fleetwood.

You can do it but having the blue print helps. Since you know the model number you should be able to find out the manufacturer. WEe put a basement under our 96 Fleetwood in 03 and it has been wondeful.

replacing front porch carpet
Our MH came with a small front porch but the indoor/outdoor carpet is wore out from foot traffic. I found some replacement carpet, but do we have to take the siding, and everything else off becaue there is a thick rubber pad underneath this old carpet? What is the best way to go about replacing this...

What is the best way to paint my wood cabinets in my kitchen. Do I sand them, and then use a primer? We have spent a lot of $ on this MH putting it on a basement, and now I want to update the upstairs rooms.
