KIT homes
RE: KIT homes
Hello Lisa,
Thanks for your question. Kit’s web site for how their homes are constructed is at, http://www.kitmfg.com/homes/detail.htm Kit's been around since the 1940 building RV's. In the 1950's the built a mobile home plant in Kansas. Kit's are average when it comes to construction. They have 2x6 floor joists and 2x3 interior walls. There are other manufactured homes that use 2x8's in the floors and 2x4's for interior walls. Bottom line, your Kit Home is standard construction for manufactured homes. Not a bad investment! Have a great weekend.
