If your home is older, you will find the data sheet in the master bedroom closet. It is an 8 1/2 by 11 piece of paper with a picture of the United States map on it. It will contain the make, model,and year of your home. Any bank you deal with should have a NADA book and look it up for you for free. ...

Manufacturer's have been building wind zone II (2) since 1976. Anything pre HUD is a wind zone I (1). You should be able to call Fleetwood back and give them the VIN or serial number of the home and the HUD label number and they can find out if it is zone I or II. Zone III (3) is the best built home...

Don't forget to get the foundation done by a reputable company! The foundation is a VERY expensive part of a modular! If it is wrong, it can be VERY costly for years to come! Mobile homes and Modulars are built for different areas of the country, so I can't help with the best built home in your area...

What I did, as well as others I know did, is purchase and EcoQuest Fresh air machine. It is an air purifier, not air filter and it took care of the formaldehyde. (As well as all other odors.)
